Finally, a sequel to Secret City…

Thanks to the support of Screen Canberra, we can announce plans to create a new compelling political drama, a sequel to Secret City.

With the working title of Dark Tide, this drama will play out once again in the Australian national capital of Canberra. But it will also feature the landscape of the South Pacific where a geopolitical tug-of-war is underway, and where Australia, the US and China are all battling to win the hearts and minds of local governments and their populations.

Dark Tide will be a very contemporary thriller, tackling the big issues of our time – the lack of trust in the major political parties, the incursion of big tech on the political landscape, and the destruction being wrought on the world’s oceans.

We are excited to share this news and look forward to providing updates as Dark Tide evolves into what we firmly believe will be another compelling Australian-based drama for a global audience.
